Apologies
Due to technical issues, it's been a while since the front page of the site was last updated. Well that has now changed.....
Team Fortunes
The season hasn't been a huge success with both teams struggling to get results. The 2nd team look like they may emulate last seasons finish having started to pick up results in the last few weeks. The 3rd's however are struggling to get a result at the moment and are in need of a good game and good fortune.
The Handcross Village FC AGM was held on Wendnesday 1st August.
Over 20 players and committee members turned out and agreed to make the tough decision to fold the 1st team for the 2007-08 season. Handcross will therefore be fielding two teams this season. Due to previously drawn cup matches and league fixtures, the two remaining teams will retain the naming convention of the 2nd and 3rd's.
2006/07 Awards
The details of last seasons award winners are now up on the Players Honours section of the Club History pages.

Players always wanted
Are you thinking about playing next season? Do you want to get fit? Keep an eye out on the website for details of training for the 2008/09 season.
We are always looking for new players and would welcome you to come and join us. If you are interested contact one of the committee and find out about playing for the mighty Handcross.
We benefit from having 2 pitches at our disposal, one off which is one of the best in the Mid Sussex League. After football we go back to the village social club where we get trays of hot food, cheep beer and Sky TV. On top of this we are lucky to have the services of a top physio who can get you back playing at subsidised rates. All this comes at the cost of just £60 per player (2006/07 rate) for the season, which is around £2 per game. Cheaper than most clubs we think.
